What signs are the turkeys leaving in the woods? Hens mean jakes, which grow to gobblers. See if they are dusting, nesting or eating gr [no swearing please] yet. Keep me posted. I'll let you know what is going on around here.
Scratches.... turkey poop... early AM gobbles... I've seen 4 gobblers together one morning last week... then that same afternoon I saw 3 hens with just one gobbler.
