Outdoor outlook for November
Friday, October 28, 2005

As the cool weather starts to take hold in November, some fishing is on the decline while other opportunities are in prime time.

So let's take a look at what sportsmen can expect to see as turkey time approaches:

Freshwater

Local Fishing On the local scene, most of the lakes are seeing decreasing amounts of vegetation Live-lining around the decaying vegetation is your top bet for good catches of b [no swearing please] and pickerel.

Most of the better fishing will be in the late afternoons. Crappie and panfish will also be on the upswing as the water temperatures cool down, and jigging in the late afternoons will give you your best catches.
