some lakes up state ny had ice that was it back when we had our cold snap afew guys were getting out on 2-3 in thats crazzy i wait for 4 in of black ice maybe next year[down][down]

I fished a lake yesterday upstate ny in Sullivan County that had 12 inches of ice on it.I was very surprised it had that much this year, but normally this time of the year the lake has 2-3 ft of ice.None in Jersey that have ice that I know of.

I am missing my ice fishing something terrible. Winter with out ice for fishing or ice climbing is just a waste. We need spring soon! Im over winter at this point. Major let down after the last few years of great ice.
