Well at 7:15 this morning I turn and there is a nice buck at 30 yds. Being overcast and a slight drizzle it was tuff to count the points, so I waited. It was looking up the trail so I knew another deer was there. Finaly a doe walks downto within about 10 yds of the buck. Still can't score it. The doe then gives me a perfect shot. Do I want it for my bad or the buck? The buck was a real nice size and was probably a six, thick beams but thats all I was sure of. I waited for the Buck and doe to take the trail to the right which would have brought them within 20 yds, never thinking they would take the fork to the left. Well they did and I'm kicking my self for not taking the sure thing. But would have liked the points for the team. Guess there's always next time.
