I just called and spoke to my LT. I requested to cancel 8 of my 10 vacation days, I kept November 5th & 12th. I got my deer, buckfever is leaving for NY next week, brownstones is starting a new job. I will just either carry those 8 days over into next year or just use them when I feel like it.

Your lucky you can cancel them. I have a friend that was told he couldn't cancel them. He's in the exact boat you are. Now he has 7 days off in Nov. to DOE hunt only [sad]
His wife is happy though. I heard she's using a roll of toilet paper to write out the " honey do list "

I really don't have the room for another deer, and friends that don't hunt but like deer meat always want it, and I never mind giving it out, but I offered to try for a doe and give it away just for the cost of butchering, and they don't want to shell out the $$$$$, cheap people...So why bother taking a antlerless deer. I will hunt this Saturday, Election Day, Saturday Next week, hopefully I see some nice bucks for the upcoming muzzleloader and shotgun season

I'm sort of in the same situation as you are BHC, I shot 2 deer this year and have enough meat for me till next season. I know of a few people who will take it though. I'll ask that they give me the $s that it costs me to have some of it made into ground venison ($25).

cause I see no reason to kill numerous deer when I don't have the room for the meat, and I still have Muzzleloader season and shotgun season to go, plus I have a situation here with my aunt, and if I can stay home with her then I will
