Well since i want to be safe this year...for once im not being an idiot..i am going to get a safety harness for when im in my stands.

i have been looking at the different ones from hunter safety system and they look they are the most comfy and most popular.

does any one have one?

if so what are the main differences in the Tree Stalker model and the pro series?

are they both built the same safety wise, and what is the comfort difference?

i never really understood that...why are they good for 5 years...just because they think u will wear it out? or is it because the breakaway stitching will be old?

I still use the 'seat of the pants' harness that my father-in-law bought for me a few years ago....it takes some getting used to....these new ones with the vest are easier to put on....I don;t go up the tree without one...have a friend who fell 21 feet...took multiple surgeries to fix his leg and ankle....now it looks he he has one leg and one hoof

They have a lifetime for safety, just like on a safety harness at work. Insurance reasons. Thats why they are so expensive b/c the co. could be held liable

I bought the very first vest design they came out with and still use it to this day.
I love it..I have my lisence on the back and calls and scents in the pockets, I use it EVERY TIME I BOW HUNT ! Even if I'm in a ground blind !!! Just like a regular vest !!!
Prior to buying the vest...I 'Never Bothered' to wear a saftey belt !!!
The Hunters Safety Systems vest is so practical and easy to use, It's 'Not A Bother' at all.

Statistics show that 1 out of 3 Hunters who use treestands will have some type of fall. I do not leave the ground without that vest. It is so light and with all the pockets it is a great tool to have on. Please wear a vest of some type if you leave the ground to hunt

Tie your own harness with life rope. That way you dont have to worry about size and layers of clothes your wearing. :D
