I saw a hen and 1 baby (poult) this morning in Englewood on Lydecker road. This is the same yard i keep seeing the turkeys in.

What did the poult look like? Do they look like those gross baby geese (more or less)?

yes it did. real small. looks like it can fit in the palm of your hand. the feathers almost look like hair. just like a newborn geese.

Hey Drag I went up to BR a week ago to shoot and came within 10 yds of a hen and 8 poults. I might have to find time some year to get a permit. But spring is way to hectic for me, but I can dream can't I.

You can get a fall turkey permit... shoot a turkey with your bow during deer season.

Does anyone hunt turkeys out of a treestand? Wonder if it's legal.

Its legal. I'll have my fall turkey permit in case one walks under my tree during bow season.
