Hello,

I live in waretown NJ, by the pine barrens. I have heard of abandoned blueberry fields and was wondering if anyone knows of such? if so please pm me or reply.

Seems like this would be a good search "abandoned blueberry fields pine barrens nj".

It might lead you to this article:

It's picking time: Berry, berry good - Philly.com

...which might mention the "Franklin Parker Preserve".

And if you map that...you can see abandoned blueberry fields as far as the eye can see:

There's a lot to explore in the pines:

NJPineBarrens Maps

Just make sure you have a tow strap, shovel, some boards to put under your tires, or a better yet, a winch or a buddy with a 4x4 to go with you. Tons of public land-Greenwood Forest WMA (not too far from where you are) is about 20,000 acres alone. I've four wheeled all over down there-I live in Hunterdon County now so I don't get down there as much. There are abandoned (and active) cranberry bogs all over the place. I've fished a few in Colliers Mills-they can be pretty productive.
