I haven't hunted with this muzzeloader in about 10 yrs now..got it back in 87'..just was wondering if these kind have went up in vaule..and does anyone still use this type,,just the iron sites..??

Unless Davy Crockett used it it's still a hundred bucks.

If the outside of that barrel is that rusted I would hate to see what the bore looks like, especially if black powder was used and it wasn't cleaned well.

Value on that one has not gone up. In excellent condition around $175.00 to $225.00. With regard to production guns if you had a Browning Mountain Rifle their prices have gone up considerably, especially the .54 caliber.

I have a gun just like it only I put a green mountain slow twist barrel on it "shoots round ball only" and a set of Davis double set triggers . The guns in .54 Cal. and its a tack driver.
