BY FRED J. AUN
For the Star-Ledger
By almost anyone's standards, Craig Lemon has a cool job. Being superintendent of the Hackettstown State Fish Hatchery is work that's satisfying, interesting and doesn't require a suit and tie.

However, it's not a career for somebody who can't go with the flow. Raising upward of two million fish yearly is a task that's bound to entail pitfalls and surprises, both good and bad. "That's one thing I like about this job," Lemon said. "You never know, from year to year."

The thing he can never predict is weather. More precisely, Lemon has no control over the types of weather the hatchery will face each spring, a season that is crucial to the facility's rearing of fish.
