I was thinking about refinishing An old shot gun that I have, and was looking for some info on what type of varnish remover would be best for the job.Im looking to start the project soon and plan on taking photos through out the project to share in the how to section. Thanks[drinking]

I did plenty on my own and just bought spray on varnish remover in the can from Home Depot and also Formby's brand woodwash to remove excess residue . Worked really well then just sanded out the dings.

I've refinished a few MZ's and I always use Zip-Strip. Comes in a yellow can. Great stuff.
