All I can say is WOW!!, I went to do alittle bass fishing but something told me I should bring my bowfishing bow to. Man I'm glad a did!!

The bass where slow and I did manage a few shots at carp as I was fishing. But only one or two shots an hour or so. So I decided to head up to another pond further up the path, as I rounded a bend in the road I saw a marsh that was teaming with spawning carp!!![eek][eek]

The water here is very shallow and almost all the fish's backs where out of the water! I dropped my tackle bag and rods and strung up the bow and waded out to meet the carp. I wish I thought to take a few pix of the spawning action, But I was so excited I forgot![rofl]

it took me a shot or two to zero in but when I did the shooting was fast and furious! I manged to hit about 9 fish but 4 got off. after about a half hour of stalking fish in the marsh they moved out.

I did manage to land 5 nothing in the class of Sugar's fish though! all where about 5-7lbs. still a wild day!! I did get a pic of the days catch though.

what kind of bow is it? you can easily set a compound up for bowfishing. just add on a bottle reel and a roller rest and you'er good to go!

Hmm, Could u really have problems if you have a fishing license and are truly bow fishing. I wouldnt think discharge laws would apply in that scenario.
