Wow, 2.2 oz. I have to get me one of those, lol.

Just kidding, I know you meant 22 oz.
Very nice stock, and great choice of rifles to put it on.

Good luck with it.

It's my 3rd one!
My first 257, very impressive round from what I've been reading...
What scope are you going with? Also what bullet weight do you use on whitetails?
Tks

I used the Barnes, Ballistic Tips & Accubonds. All were impressive.
Accubonds were the most accurate followed by the Ballistic Tips then Barnes.
I imagine the Partition would be nice also.
I would stick w/ 100 grains or more.
Not much room for error with a .25 caliber so you must be picky & it's less of a blood trail compared to the 6mm,270,7mm & .30 cals.
I use a S&B scope 3-12x50 Reticle No. 8

I'll chime in w/my setup- FWIW
It is very impressive, punches very much above its weight.
For scopes, I went with a 3.5x18 swaro to make best use of its range.
Bullets, I have used the 110 grain Accubond with good results. It did shoot best in my gun.
For whitetails, I would not hesitate to use the 80grain TTSX on up.

Im now shooting the accubond.
