I have one of these also. It's what I took down my buck with in Illinois this season. Really nice good shooting gun. Did you pick out a slug yet? I would go with lightfields, accutips, or hornady's they seem to group the best although this gun will shoot a wide range of bullets well.

my brother has one 20g with a thumbhole stock, real nice gun, good luck with it

Thumbhole stocks are tough to get this time of year. That is a nice weapon, I think you will be happy with the way it shoots.

if the lightfields shoot like booty out of it like it did with mine along with the SST'
s...try remington accutips....run a boresnake through the gun after every shot and wait 5 minutes for it to cool. good luck...also have it boresighted if u can....

My H&R 20 gauge shoots light fields best. 100 yards- 1 inch groups. I tried all of them.

Thanks guys! I got 2 boxes of lightfields 2 3/4 and 2 boxes of SST's in 2 3/4, so I guess im spending $3.00 per shot to sight this in! I couldnt find the thumbhole anywhere right now, and this was the last one on Ramsey's shelf.
