Does anyone know of any lakes that have good shoreline access and that we can catch some nice sized Bluegills?

I wanna keep two or three big fish to have mounted on driftwood for my lil' fishin' buddy's bedroom.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've caught big blue gills in Greenwood lake along the shoreline but access is very tough. My daughter and I must have caught between 20-30 small b [no swearing please] and sunnies on Monday - I caught a really nice perch too.

Shepard Lake might be good for what you are looking for, plenty of open shoreline and you can rent a boat. Try to go on a weekday though.

Small hooks, 1/2 a night crawler = plenty of sunnies and blue gills. Good luck.
