My wife and I have been looking for replacement logs for our gas fireplace. The fireplace came with the house and is only 8 inches deep. Unfortunately we can not use them because they are not ventless and there is no chimney. Does anyone know of where I might be able to fire 8 inch deep logs? The smallest I have found is 9 1/2 inches. The place I found it said it would be around $1000 because I would have to buy a hood to cover the extra 1 1/2 inches. Any hekp would be great. Mike
