This is the engine that 'was' in my GMC Pickup. Long story short, 1/2 mile from the dealership after a complete tune up, the engine blew. The 3rd piston is toast. "Something" appears to have gotten stuck in between the piston and the head. I kept the engine in thoughts of pursuing a lawsuit, but after inquiry, it would cost more to sue than I would recover. So, I need this thing out of my garage.
This is 1997 4.3L GMC Vortec V6 Engine. It had 102K on it before the mishap. I only missed 1 3k oil change the entire time I owned it. Im the original owner. Free to anyone willing to come get it. Located in North Wilmington DE. Figure maybe someone may want to practice rebuilding an engine, maybe get scrap for it? Drop it on your ex wife when she comes looking for that alimony check?
