our protesters were arrested this morning at wawayanda, vernon township, for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstruction of administration. marty said they stood in a path that bear hunters were walking down, refused to move, verbally abused hunters, who asked them to step aside. they're due in vernon court dec. 12.
some familiar names: angela metler(who this year locked herself in a bear trap), teresa fritzges(who is quoted in yesterday's trentonian saying the hunt is "a massacre of innocent life," janet piszar, who tries to stop deer hunts and a guy named albert(didn't get his last name) who's also charged with making terroristic threats. the antis claimed it had been a sting operation.
