Was in SJ this morning driving to work and behind the wawa at Rt 541 & Church near the Medford WMA there were about 10 turkeys in the field and one Tom was in full strut. I believe Turkey season is over in that zone but if not the Turkey's are only a few hundred yards from the WMA

but here in the south they are still breeding I see toms every day in full strut. even saw 8 or nine hens to night that was not nesting yet and no young.

big time. they are everywere strutting. saw them near work today, saw them around the house. everywere.

think they lost the first nest to cold rain, and this is the second go round? or just late hens?
