Does Clinton WMA have holders for paper targets or do you have to bring your own? How far off 78 is it ? Never been there before

Clinton has a few there but I would bring your own in case the others are being used.

Flatbrook is only available off of 206 due to road closures from hurricane Irene. Same with Clinton regarding target holders.

At Clinton you're supposed to bring your own, and the bottom of the target is supposed to be 30" off the ground. LOTS of old ones laying around that people have left.
I made a base out of PVC, with 1"x2" wood uprights. Cost me about $10 in material, and works like a charm.

The following rules apply to the Clinton Muzzleloader/Rifle Range Only:
All target frames must measure a minimum 30 inches from its base to the bottom of the paper target held in the frame. Frames must be placed only on top of a target mound located at the 25, 50 and 100 yard lines. This minimum target height requirement will eliminate the risk of ricochet and ensure that all projectiles are collected in the berm behind the 100 yard target.

Shooters may supply their own frames which meet the above specifications, or use those provided on-site by the Division of Fish and Wildlife.
