Has anyone been doing any flounder fishing around cape may point or the lower bay aroung higbees beach or villas area ? Looking to fish that area tomoro morn on my dads boat and am limited how far to take the boat out so I am stuck fishing that area to get away from the back bay boat traffic brigade. Any reports would be appreciated.

from the ferry to the point, you'll have trouble keeping the croakers off. they have showed in numbers down there. you'll need to go out a little. i've never done good in the 60'. but the C+B and the bottom changes around brandywine have always been good to me. if all else fails, head to the light to pitch baits in the rocks, the triggers will be there.;)

Thanks. We have flounder tourney at the boat marina and want to avoid all the boats slamming thru the back intercoastal waterway. Its only a 17 foot boat and doent hold a ton of gas to run way out. We've been aroung the point w it before on good day.
