Finally got my first bass of the season. It seemed like I was always missing the bite by an hour or two. I have lost several fish this year, this is the first one I landed. We fished off Asbury Park last night from 630 until 930. Fish was 30 lbs, 43 inches on live bunker about mid water level. We lost a two others.

I look so shot out in that pic. I had worked for 12 hours standing in the road prior to going out fishing. I was so tired and hungry lol but I had to fish
