WWP,

Not a problem, no trouble at all. UBNJ has nothing to hide. It was a good question.

I would watch the UBNJ website for the latest information. I'm pretty sure info will be posted here as well. The newsletter is good but it only comes out every few months so the information may not be in there.

I have a feeling UBNJ will have a record amoun t of hunts available to members this year. Many are in talks already.

I'm not in the "inner circle" and I knew about it by applying ahead of time as soon as it was posted on the UBNJ web site.

It was a very controlled hunt, from the qualifications to take part, to setting and GPSing of stands. It was set up in a short nine days and we were asked to take it off of the web site. It became a word of mouth deal.

Bloodtrails is right, UBNJ members should look for more hunting opportunities for the up coming season.

It takes a lot of work, time, and effort to secure, plan, and coordinate these types of hunts, but it's worth it when we can provide a benefit for the membership and the community.

Guys, beleive me I'm not part of any inner circle with UBNJ. There is no such thing. I joined UBNJ last year and came across the announcement for the hunt on the UBNJ website. It was posted for only two days or so. I applied, got a call, and qualified to hunt the property. Simple as that. This hunt was put together in a VERY short time, was organized, coordinated and ran very efficiently with safety and consideration of the surrounding properties and communities being the #1 priority. The success of this hunt speaks for ittself. UBNJ, as a result, I have heard through the grapevine, has been invited by many communities to set up similar hunts. My hat goes off to all UBNJ council for their time and efforts to make these hunts a reality!!!

JJoe, I got him in Zone E. Your right though, it was a FUN hunt. I also saw a lot of bucks, and several that were bigger than the one I got. Either too far, or I didn't have my does yet, but I'll take a buck like that anytime. What Zone did you hunt?

I was over in R..the little patch of woods in an 800 acre field across the road from the "good woods" Deer would come in and bed down in waist high grass..

I took a few does at up to 175yds.

Your buck is a good one....

Take care.
