anyone hunt the gap area for turkeys? ive been seeing a butt load of turkeys in my home area zone 50, its getting me kinda pump for the spring...

I agree with 230 last year i was not happy there was alot of guys and not many birds.
I might try hunting zone 50 this year also(12 for turkey).

ill be hunting both, hunted near stokes last year, zone 2 i think, wasnt bad, only had a few jakes come in. we were using our recurves, couldnt get a shot off on any birds

I also hunted Sterling Forest NY last year. That is ajacent to NJ turkey zone 6. It was also bad.

Where is this zone 12/50 you speak of.

12 is Hunterdon, 50 is Monmouth

230 i might give Englishtown a try i have a spot over there that looks like it might be pretty good.
