Hello, I am new to hunting and was thinking about hunting zone 65. I was just wondering if it is worth it? I know that the state says that there is a "Sizable Deer Herd" but that is not always true. I am looking to hunt the bow seasons.

Wharton will give you the most elbow room & your gear stands a better chance if removed before thanksgiving in Wharton .

Wharton got plenty of elbow I was just down there last weekend scoping out some stomping grounds I Hunt it alot and know the areas well

Go check out zone 23. Bc of the strict limits not many guys will hunt it. I have spots in 19 and 23 and in 23 I see more hikers and horses than I do hunters. 19 is a meat spot for me, its gets crowded.
