C'mon now, that's almost spring like......in Alberta somewhere! :D

Get out there now...when its that cold in the AM I like to start my hunt around 9AM and sit the rest of the day...midday movement tends to be quite good if the temps rise enough to thaw things out a bit.

My thermometer said 3 degrees in Califon..There were 6 deer behind the house eating the small red berries on the sticker bushes (dont know the proper name of the bush)and waiting for my feeder to release some corn. The yearlings have really put on some weight the last few months....Unfortunately I will not be able to see them the next few days because I have to fly to Miami for work tonight. The things I do for work....

I called the guys and said I'd be home in the house where it was a heck of a lot warmer than the 1 degree I had at the house.
They were driving this AM and called me later. At 9:30 they had 7 does and an 8 ptr down. Still have 3 of the better drives to do. Should be a good 12-15 deer day for them. Hope they had fun, I stayed warm. :D

It was 9 degrees in Bergen County at 5.45am and my Dad said that his car registered -6 in Zone 2! No deer seen by him but lots of tracks (full moon last night!)
