Fished hard and hit up a couple different spots today. Only caught 2 stocker brookies today but one of them was tagged! I've never caught a tagged trout before so this was my first piece of jewelry! Says on it to mail it in and has a number on it as well. Is there like a prize drawing when you mail it in or is it just to collect information? My buddy and I also later hit up a small creek we had heard possessed some natives and he managed to catch one! We saw more scattering. Overall today the bite was very slow, probably due to most of the fish having been taken and the rain as well. We did spot one breeder rainbow were gonna go back and try for again that's probably 6-7lbs... He was very skittish. It was the second time my buddy has seen him in 2 days and he was right where he said he would be.
