I saw a large dead buck that was hit by a car on Rt. 24 in Chester a week ago. Drove past it on a return trip an hour later and the head was missing! What's up with that? Is the antler worth money or something?

My saw a doe get hit yesterday at Route 23 in Wayne by the school where she works. She said there was a buck chasing some does and a doe ran into the highway. It's that time of year again.

I hope it wasnt the Nice 4 pt ive been seeing. That deer looks like its going to be a good buck in a couple of years.

There are a lot of dead bucks on 78. Out of the 8 dead deer I saw yesterday, 7 were bucks.

I saw a nice buck on rt55s last week and the next day the antlers were gone looked like an 8, saw a nice buck this morning on 55n on way to work but it was to dark to see all the points by time I see him in the daylight the antlers will probably be long gone....

Where on Rt 10 in Randolph I hunt that area

Didn't realy pay attention to exactly where. Now if this were Dec,-Feb. Cold weather, fresh kill I might be able to tell you exactly where it WAS.

But it was south of 513 about 1-2 miles where there is gr [no swearing please] not the cement divider. Actualy there was a doe about 100 yds S. of the buck on the N side right shoulder. The buck was on the gr [no swearing please] divider on 10 S. At first I thought it was the same deer I saw in the morning and someone tried to drag it across the highway, but it was 2 different specimens.

Saw a total of 11 dead deer on 287 between 78 and 80 on both sides. 3 were small bucks
