Anyone else being affected by the gas pipeline in Ringwood or West Milford? One of my prospective spots was completely stripped of every tree in sight. Real bummer. I hope that this pipeline project doesn't ruin my 2013 hunting plans!

dont worry that pipe line will become a deer magnet. many deer have been taken off the existin gas line over the years. the animals will adapt! and hunting will be fine.

Soon as the work is done plant it with something they will eat and kill them from a ground blind. Deer adapt to changes that is why they are successful as a species you should too if you want to be successful.

once the pipeline is in, it makes a great backstop while shotgun hunting :)

While the work is disruptive when it occurs, finished pipelines provide good browse especially when brush hogged every year. Zone 3 is mostly hardwoods and can benefit with more clearcut. The boys around here hunt the pipeline in Zone 36 and do very well every year. Good luck.
