I think the Division of Fish and Game should have some info handed out so people know what CWD is. I was on another site and a guy from NJ was posting a picture of a yearling spike buck and stating he believe the deer had CWD. When I saw the deer in the photo I could not believe this guy would post that. It is the type of thing that will cuase people to jump to conclusions. CWD is Serious and I have read reports in West Virginia where I rifle hunt and they are very worried about what it could do to the heard.
We need to be educated on this ASAP.
NJ F&W does have info on CWD and they are starting to get more aggressive, which they need to be.

Here's the info:

BTW, there is no way to tell if a deer has CWD by simply looking at it.
Dave, you're right CWD is serious! The division did put an article in the new Digest this year, but I will admit I didnt read it over.

The best info on CWD and what we can expect should it be found here, can be found on the Wisconsin DNR web page.

Wisconsin DNR CWD link

Scroll down to the bottom of that link, and you will find two more link's with more info. Their site contains a good bit of info on CWD.

I sure hope it never makes its way here!:([down]
Any deer I see that looks sick, I'll take it out and give the deer to F&G for testing. If it is ok, then it's burger... Just hope we don't get Blue Tounge, That shits really bad on deer.
