When is the best time to go Crabbing in NJ. I remember going as a kid years back in Barnegat and catching bushels full of them and since then the last time I went was like 13 years ago and I only caught like 10. If anyone knows of any good places to go and what time of year is the best, please let me know I want to bring the kids Thanks!

When the waters warm . Biggest and Best Late july- Early Sept. With Aug. being the best.

I like going in August. We go down the shore the last 2 weeks of August and the crabbing is awesome! Last year we went down in late July and the crabbing was awesome then as well...[up]
