I fill a small pot halfway with water. Add vanilla, yellow food dye, honey, yellow corn meal, flour and corn starch. Thoroughly mix. Turn on the heat. Then stir until very thick. I don't think that the bass hit the corn meal. I missed a bite, then felt the fish. It probably hit the bare hook because it was hooked under the lower jaw. I catch lots of fish on bare hooks. They are probably reflex hits on anything moving fast through the water. I didn't catch a carp on corn meal in a long time. They are all eating mulberries now.What's the recipe?
