I got a bunch of venison chop meat back from the butcher mixed with pork fat. Can I use this to make chilli, or any other recipe that uses regular beef? Or should I just use it for hamburgers? This is my first time using venison chop meat, so trying to learn. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

It will be great with chili, mealoaf, etc.

Use it for chili hamburger meatloaf it's good with the pork I put it in all my ground meat I make

Don't forget Breakfast or Italian Sausage. Not necessary to stuff into casings, just make patties. Great way to start any morning.[tasty]

Anything you would make with ground beef. In fact, we haven't bought any beef in the past 5-6 years.

BTW...I'm not a fan of mixing in pork fat...I prefer to have nothing added to my venison. But that's personal preference.

[up]I always use plain venison for chilie and tacos. No need for the extra fat calories and cholesterol.

It will be best for burgers. I like 100% venison for everything else.
