A buddy of mine was checking his trail CAM when this showed up. Have no clue what it is, first I thought it was a fox, but the tail is different. Im thinking Fisher Cat? the property is in NY state along the NJ border.

Any Ideas what it is??

Fox I would say. Fisher cats I have seen have much shorter legs. Night pics on trail cams enhance some features and colors because of black and white and IR flash. JMO

Chupacabra????I thought grey fox, but the tail kinda looks like a raccoon with the stripes?

Grey Fox like GG said. The stripes are weeds infront of the tail

definitely not a fishercat, and doubt its a gray fox. This animal has a banded tail and doesn't really look much like a fox if you compare it to pics... Some sort of exotic house cat? I think it's feline... Just not sure what... The tail length is consistent with that of a mountain lion, as is the body type, but that banded tail doesn't really fit.. Very interesting...

Its a greyfox. The tail is not filled out cause of the summer months and the strips on the tail are weeds in front of it
