Just need to be 18 for a muzzleloader in PA.

However, if it is a design like the TC Encore that can accept a centerfire replacement barrel it must be purchased like a regular firearm.

Pa does not require fid card just over 18 (for muzzy only) but don't get any gun that can change to another cal then u need fid. However I DO NOT know the regulations on owning it in nj and reg details id look into it or buy it and ask questions later that's what most ppl do anyway

They'll ask if you want to fill out the NJ document, I completed it just to be on the safe side.

I went to Cabelas 2 years ago. I found what one I liked I explained to him where I reside,NJ to the sales person, he retrieved one from stock, he escorted me to the cashier, I than paid for it w/o any questions and out the door!

they will ask if you're a NJ or PA resident, you will have to go through NJ procedures.
Not for a muzzleloader. You just throw it in your cart and take it to the register.

Gee, wouldn't it be great if the search function worked here???
