I did some bow practice in my backyard today. About 15 yards... 15 ft. up. I can move the target out to 20 yards...but I need some hay bails.... in case I miss... I don't want to walk in the little woods for my arrows.

Hey Drag, we replaced the bow targets at Black River.. So the old foam blocks are stacked up by the dumpster...They are shot out, but will still work as a backstop incase of a stray arrow..

HUNTING FOR LOST ARROWS WILL MAKE YOU A BETTER SHOT ,(THATS WHAT MY FATHER WOULD ALWAYS TELL ME) ALSO IF YOU CANT FIND EM OR BUST EM IT WILL HIT THE WALLET A LITTLE HARDER.

Well...I'm shooting a little high. Its either the sight or the height... or both. LOL
Don't forget....Don't drop your arm to the target, bend at the waist.

Great reminder! If I would have remembered this, I would have bagged a deer last season. Letting my nerves get the best of me made this a long venisonless summer. [sad]
