I will be bow hunting (zone 16) during the remainder of permit bow and into winter bow.

Concurrently - permit shotgun and muzzleloader seasons will be in effect in my zones.

Do I have to wear blaze orange?
(I do have a blaze cap, but if its real cold I throw the hood or blalclava on - these aren't blaze.)

Thats sort of my issue - I like to 'still hunt' during winter bow.

I guess I'll stand hunt and vest it.

I wish we had some bow only zones in winter.

Like Drag said, you do not have to. Just a comment from what I've heard, deer see blaze orange the same way as they see white. With all this snow around, I wouldn't be too concerned wearing it.

BTW, did you give up on treestand hunting already?
Not at all. Just like to keep moving when its cold.
I'll have to get electric socks or over-boots for the stand.

I'd definitely wear orange if you are moving through the woods, either stalking or going to and from your stand. Permit shotgun days for antlerless deer can be a dangerous time to not have orange on.

Better safe than sorry.

Thanks
