as I was cutting up a doe today I was getting hungry so I put aside a backstrap for dinner ,I cut the meat up in half inch steaks and put some blackening seasoning on her . I then got my cast iron pan and got it as hot as I could and seared them till they were medium rare .I am sitting here w/ a ice cold beer and some fresh straps it dont get much better.This weekend I will be making some sausage .I love full freezers
