There used to be a buck like that in my parents nieghborhood.... It was an older buck and I swear it must of had a 25-30 inch spread but only a fork on one side and 2 tiny tines on the other! The main beams were thick and wide but that was it! The tines were all tiny and twisted![confused] Ugly bugger! That 4 in the pic is a deer you want to remove from the herd!!!

This is just my opinion:

That deer does NOT look like a buck thats so over-the hill that he is declining in antler growth. His face would not look that young. He'd look OLD.....I mean, gray face, withered/tattered ears, thicker face, big loose skinned neck, etc.

However, he does look like hes about 2.5 years old. Which means he isnt growing nice antlers for one reason or another. I personally wouldnt take him just to rid him of the gene pool this year, but if I saw him next year and he still had that pointless frame with a wide spread, he'd get an arrow. Maybe even put a youngster or beginner on the buck to give them a chance at a buck.

Thats my thoughts on the matter anyway.....

Yeah Drag, and then you need your first late season bow buck, and your first muzzleloader buck while wearing new boots, and your first permit shotgun buck while standing on one leg. :p:D

How many firsts can you have Kris?:D:D:D
