Saturday the 29th was my birthday, I went hunting with buckfever, brownstones, GunnyFern, and our friend sean. I got in my stand about 5:30am, at 7:20am I had 2 does walk under me and allowed them to walk. I called brownstones on radio, and told him about the does, and I'm waiting for a buck. About 5 minutes later I look to my right and 50 yards away is a doe being chased by a buck. When they stopped, I gave out two grunts, this buck then walked down and started racking is antlers in a tree he was still 50 yards out, when he stopped I gave out one more grunt, he then started walking towards me, at 20/25 yards out he stopped and was smelling the James Valley Scrape scent I put out, and this is when I released my arrow and I spinned him, I did have to put a second arrow in him, which I hate to do, but it was the thing to do, I was done at 7:30am.

brownstones saw a total of 12 deer
GunnyFern I'm not sure how many
buckfever saw a few, and one being a basket rack buck at 50 yards no shot
sean saw 2 bear, a few deer, and arrowed a 6 pointer, we looked and looked without success.

I will have pictures this afternoon.

It feels good to hunt with good people, just like to say thank you to those guys[up]

Nice pics congrats again. Now I know what they look like in case one wanders in front of me here in NH. Heading out in a few for the evening sit. Windy as heck today. I'm not really into it. Just going to throw the scentlok coveralls on over the street clothes and sit up about 12 feet and enjoy the sway of the trees.
