What do you guys use and what do you recommend. I want to switch between a red dot and an actual scope for my Ar15. I am looking for one at a reasonable price, it doesn't have name brand. Just looking for reliability

i havent used them myself but some people on my muzzy forum use the nc stars. http://www.amazon.com/Steel-Ring-Weaver-Level-Lock/dp/B001D1AKVE for the price its worth a shot. after that just spend the 60$ on leupold qrw-s.

Talley...Unequivocally IMO the best. I've had Warne, Leupold and Talley and now only use Talley.

I have a Leupold on my muzzy. The locking arms never go all the way in place. [down]

stevo you had problems with the leupold qrw-s? did you push the rings foward before tightening them. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/463702/leupold-1-qrw-quick-release-weaver-style-rings-matte-low warnes and talley are nice but i hate the clam shell cam action type rings. they are a pain to mount a scope in. the good thing is that they usually dont leave ring marks.
