Hungry bears!!

A dog was badly mauled in Rockaway township on Tuesday night. He's in the vet right now in very bad shape.

Another dog was mauled in Mountain Lakes (Warren County) last night. NJ F&W are investigating today.

Many Easter rabbits have also been reported MIA.

Here we go!!!

It will get worse. The first human victim will probably be a hiker or camper. Then it's too late for a situation that could have been prevented.

Feel bad for the dogs and there families, and the bunny rabbits also. I agree 100% with you leftbow, plus I do see a bear hunt this year

50-60 degrees most of next week..They will ALL be out and hungry...

I told my wife to keep the sliding gl [no swearing please] door closed from now on! We had a 400 pounder on our front porch in the fall and I'm sure he will be around again this year! I'm sure he's hungry this time of year too!
Sure glad they called off the bear hunt last year![mad]

I didn't see anything in the papers about the Rockaway dog. Has anyone else heard or seen anything?

Nope. Papers were alerted but I guess the Pope was bigger news.
