I was up there today in Montague. Nothing not a bear track or poop. Locals tell me they are up in the Mountains still gorging on acorn. One Muzz. hunter told me Monday up in Stoke he saw 6 bears. I will be hunting right of 519 in Beensville.

i got a zone 1 permit and was thinking about the delaware water gap rec area. also thinking about another area.does anyone know if swatrswood is a good bear hunting option? . me and my brother have permits and i will be scouting this weekend.
