Bear Track = What Size Bear/Pic

Although it is very dry we did have rain Saturday night into Sunday....


So I wouldn't say this was made in the mud but it wasn't hard ground
either...

I harvested a 300lb bear in Canada that had a 5-1/2" pad, also from Canada I took a 170lb bear that had a 4" pad, and my New Jersey bear that was 200lbs. has a 4-1/2" pad

My leatherman is 4" So that track is every bit of 8" long and 6" wide if not more!!! My uneducated guess would be about 400 lbs.???
