Who here will be out seeking a NJ Black Bear this year, and where will you be hunting?

I will be out there seeking my buck, and a bear. I'll be in Sussex County

rutnbk - rumor has it that this year will be a home study course for the bear permit.

Maybe, maybe not. Details still need to be ironed out.

That picture was last year. How much weight do they gain in a year. Andover Area.

A male could be quite a bit larger by now. For example, my uncle's bear was 260lbs and under 2 years old. Females, maybe half as big.

Is it only shotgun or can I use my muzzleloader?
