I was talking to a hunter the other day about BAD and we differed in how we thought it applied.

Say you shoot a doe during the fall bow season, and take it to a participating BAD checkstation. If you don't take a buck during the fall season, will this doe apply towards the permit bow season? I thought it did. What's correct?

Nope. You shoot a doe during fall bow because you have to shoot one first before a buck. So you take the doe to a BAD station. Now you can shoot a buck during fall bow.

Now...if you are now buck hunting during fall bow... you see a doe... shoot it...take it to the same BAD station....now that doe is "banked" for permit bow.

Aw that stinks. Ok then, thanks Drag. I guess I'll be shooting anything I see. Then again, I still need to take my first doe this year [confused]
