I decide to take my second Doe today, for the BAD. Anyway I get down to the whitehouse checking station and I give him the yellow card that was given to me by Mr. Pearson on rt31. When he looks at it he tells me that the card is no good because it was not filled out properly by the checking station.
Make sure when you shoot your first deer they fill it out properly or you going to be in the same situation I'm in. I have to go now and get a third doe. That really SUCKS. You are responssible to make sure they do it right. I'm going Monday back to Mr. Persons to see if the problem can be solved [mad]

How was it not filled in correctly? You need 3 things, Date of harvest, Seal number and check station name. As long as you went to a B.A.D check station both times there is no problem.

He gave me a blank card, he never wrote all the information on it, and I never looked. The place was mobbed with hunters checking in deers. I'm taking the seal # from the deer contest on this web site and see if he can fix the problem.

I was under the understanding you HAD to go to the same check station you brought the first deer to.

Can you go to different B.A.D check stations?[confused]

Hunters MUST check in two antlerless deer taken during the Fall Bow season at participating check stations to be eligible for this program. These check stations will issue hunters a Bank-A-Doe Harvest Card. Hunters will fill in their personal information and the date, possession seal number and check station used for each of the two antlerless deer harvested during Fall Bow in an EAB zone.

Thats off the state fgw website, seems the hunter fills the card in.

Exactly. You can fill in the information from both deer and you are all set. No need to go back to any check station. When you get your buck in extended season just make sure the entire card is filled out and go to a BAD check station.

Yes you can go to any B.A.D check station..You dont have to go to the same one to tag both deer..As long as the check in station is a B.A.D check station it is ok..

And the station you checked your deer in must match their deer check station no. code. In other word each statation has their own number. so every deer checked in must comply with the BAD station no, it was checked in at. You can't check 2 different deer in at 2 stations and use the same number. Also any buck you get must be checked in at a bad station as well or you forfeit your second buck and must shoot another doe again.

I was told by a warden that you must check in your 1st doe, 2nd doe and november buck all at the same B.A.D. check station for it to work. It seems that there is much confusion around this whole BAD process this year....I hope they fix it for next year

I do believe that the CO was wrong. Deer must be check in at any participating BAD stations. If you get a Buck lets say the first day of the exteded season, you must take that buck to a BAD station and have the yellow tag all filled out and in order. If you were to shoot a Buck next week during the regular season and you had already shot a doe, then you can take it to any station hand over your Blue card that shows that you already shot a Doe and your Buck tag from your license and you are good to go.
Wow it is so complicating, Thank God I can't get any more gray hairs[mad]
