This has absolutely nothing to do with hunting or fishing, unless you consider this something that hindered my thought of hunting and fishing.

Anyway on my way home from work as I was pondering the upcoming PA bear hunt my wife calls and says, "Honey, did you remember we are going to the lactation cl [no swearing please] tonight at the hospital?"

So from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm I went to a cl [no swearing please] on proper breast feeding (sorry I couldnt return your call tommy!!) Anyway for some odd reason I got chosen to be the male guinea pig to wear the pregnant woman suit that serves no purpose except to attempt and make the male gender miserable and get them to feel sorry for their wives. I wish I brought my camera you guys would be laughing for hours.

Now back to the real world of hunting and fishing!!! :)

What the heck??? Breast feeding has got to be one of the most natural things for a woman to do. Maybe it's me, but why would a woman need a cl [no swearing please] on how to do it? Weird man!

I feel bad for you my friend.

Hey Drome, tell your wife to stop wasting her time and your time attending these birthing classes. My wife and I just had our second child, never attended any classes, and we have had no problems. It will come to you and your wife naturally. I mean this whole heartedly! Your best mentors are Grandmas and close family. They have all been there, and they will offer you the best advice.;) Good Luck to you and your wife.

My wife and I went to one of these classes when we got pregnant with our first. After that first cl [no swearing please] we didn't go back and as luv2hunt said everything just came naturally. The nurses and doctor tell you everything you need to do when the time comes! We now have 4 children with a 5th on the way! I could probably teach those classes now!:D
I think those classes are designed to make the mother(and father) feel more prepared and relaxed but they don't tell too much that you don't already know, but if it makes the mom-to-be feel more comfortable then it's worth going.
Good luck.... Jim

On our first we went with formula feeding, and she wants to go natural this time. She's heard stories upon stories and figured maybe the cl [no swearing please] would ease the tension, even if it taught nothing it served its purpose of relaxing her a little so it was worth the night of harassment. :D
