I'm keeping three quial and this will be the first winter. I have an outdoor cage for them. I heated the enclosed part with a light bulb and it stays about 50 degrees when it drops below freezing. I have two females and one male. Lately the females have been attacking the male. Just kind of bullying, but today I saw a few drops of blood on the males beak. I was told you could keep one male with as many females without problems. They have been together since the spring. Any suggestions?

He will be fine.. its not neccasary to heat their pen..put extra straw so they can nest and have a spot where they can get out of the wind..also I would buy a heated water dish..sucks chipping ice every morning.
