You can't identify antlers like a trail cam past 25 yards, but for identifying patterns and movements you are good to about 100.

Buy the m80. It will do plotwatching and you can put a larger sd card in it. Also has a hybrid mode to plotwatch and still photos. No need to buy just a plotwatch cam.

what size SD cards does it accept and does does it only work during the day like the plotwatcher?

It takes a 16 or a 32. I am not sure. In the hybrid mode it will plot watch for the programmed amount of time in the morning and evening. In between and night will do still shots

how many day -night can you get from a m80 or bushnell on a 32gb card or the batteries go dead. i want to try this too

I tried the plotwatch feature on the M-80 and didn't get it to work right. I didn't have time to figure out what the problem was and put it back on standard mode. What I did figure out is it drained 8 new AA Duracells in less than a week....[smirk]

For the Plotwatcher I use rechargables and get about 4 days out of them. After the season is over I'll figure out the M-80 plotwatch mode and how they handle 8 AA rechargeables.

Not really a mid season experiment to be F'ing around with....[confusedagain]
